No marriage can survive without the foundation of trust.  This simple truth is so fundamental and basic to a healthy marriage that few of us stop to think about it.  Without a profound respect and faith in each others actions and thoughts, a marriage can not progress and grow.  The same is true with a personal relationship.  A committed relationship, a loving marriage where two people learn to love and grow with each other, can never blossom without the fundamental prerequisite of trust between both partners.

There are a multitude of ways a person can say “I love you.”  You say it when you give them a big hug and kiss when you greet them at the end of the day.  You say it when you leave a little note for them emblazoned with a heart and with both of your names inscribed inside it.  You say it when you look each other in the eye with a loving gaze and contemplate bliss and warmth together.  You say it just about anytime you do something thoughtful for your spouse that truly means “I love you.
